2006 Survey Results.Resulting in improvements in 2007!
In 2006, the Credit Union conducted a Membership Survey to
determine how well we were serving our membership. A special
Thank You to all the members who took the time to participate
in the 2006 survey. We continue to make positive changes in
2007.
Listed below are the issues revealed in the 2006 survey, along
with some improvements we have made in 2007:
- Customer service from employees - all employees have
been involved in customer service training throughout the
year, and we continue to provide training opportunities for
all of our staff in order to serve our members with
professionalism and courtesy. This is an area that we are
constantly working on, and we have seen some
improvement in our Mystery Shop program. The Mystery
Shop program helps in two areas: It trains employees to
welcome and greet all our members with a smile. It also
teaches each employee about all of our products and
services so that each member will better understand the
features and benefits of each product.
- Loan application processing time - the Loan Department
has been and continues to be revamped in order to provide
quicker responses to loan applications. This is an ongoing
process.
- Cross sell products and services - more than 27% stated
that the tellers do not discuss other product and service
options. The front line staff has been and continues to be
trained on cross selling products and services. As noted
previously, our Mystery Shop program will help in this area
as well.
- Branch locations/hours - the credit union is looking at the
relocation of the City Hall East branch to a new, more
convenient location, and the issue of Saturday hours is
being researched to determine its feasibility and cost
effectiveness. However, one of our best kept secrets is the
Shared Branch Centers. Many of our members live and
work close to one of these locations and currently have the
luxury of extended hours and Saturday hours. CUA
members can do most of their transactions at these

The overall satisfaction rating of 92% is fantastic; however; we
still have some work to do to provide the highest quality
member service to all of our members.
